This is really great. Staff very attentive, food was well prepared, you can watch the chefs prepare your food and that's fun. The atmosphere is very nice.

I'm a travel agent and have the opportunity to eat at many hotel fine dining restaurants, that being said comparisons are easy for me and accurate reviews imperative. We decided to celebrate my birthday at Litchfields. The service at this hotel is gracious and impeccable. Upon arriving we asked the concierge where it was, as it's not off the lobby. No, go this way or that, she graciously escorted us all the way to the restaurant and wished us a pleasant evening. The hostess greeted us and also wished me a happy birthday and asked if we preferred a booth or table. The restaurant has an open kitchen concept, giving it a more comfortable, casual elegance. But that also lends to a bit more noise. We were seated close to the kitchen and the noise never interfered with our conversation at all. This is not a huge restaurant which definitely helps keep the noise level down. If you are looking for a quiet, refined dining experience, then this might not fit what you are looking for, or don't go on a weekend when it might not be as busy. Our waitress was pleasant and had a happy birthday greeting for me. She was very knowledgeable on the menu and the wine. The food was excellent. I had the ribeye and my husband the filet. They were cooked to perfection and melted in your mouth. I was hesitant on the Yukon mash with sour cream, as I don't like sour cream. She assured me that they we delicious and they were, I left none of them on my plate. During the meal the maitre d' stopped by to see if everything was ok and to wish me a happy birthday. This was an exceptional meal with equally exceptional service. If you have the opportunity to eat here, do so. I don't see how you could be disappointed. We will definitely return for another five star meal. Thank you to all who made my birthday dinner special.......it was!

The wait staff was superb as well the vittles! We had apps, salads, dinners, drinks & dessert for 2, under $300. Since we BOTH had delicious steaks, that's not too pricey. Hubbie had a couple fancy bourbon concoctions that complemented his dinner quite nicely. We will definitely be back with a few more peeps in tow!
